Agroforestry and Syntropyc Farming

11.07.2018 / 11:30 AM – 1 PM

The idea behind the workshop is to present syntropic farming developed by Ernst Gotsch, a swiss-german who lives in Brazil. His technique is a 5d planting, using space and time during planting, creating a system based in abundance. Producing from veggies until fruit trees and trees for logging in a very efficient way, reducing costs, time and work. It makes plants develop faster than in a mature forest or monocultural areas. It is perfected fitted for communities because it bonds people together and works in any type of climate, temperate, tropical and sub-tropical. It is a very simple way of produce food while reforest the environment. It is based on relationships between plant-plant, plant-human and human-human. we have been travelling through many places and experienced many different techniques but this one we believe is the best. During the workshop we will show videos and schemes of plantations in different areas and climates.
